On 20 October in Lisbon, the 3rd edition of
Professionals of the Future - Human-centric
(Re)manufacturing in the Era of AI will bring together education,
training and industry to explore how skills must evolve alongside
Artificial Intelligence, digitalisation and more sustainable
manufacturing.
The morning will open the discussion around three connected dimensions:
digital tools for training, remanufacturing and industrial
transformation,
and human centricity and professional growth.
And the conversation will continue in the afternoon. Under the theme “People at the Centre of Industrial
Transformation: Remanufacturing and Artificial Intelligence”, the
focus will shift from the broader challenges to practical European responses -
looking
at how innovation, technology and skills development can support people through
industrial change.
This is also where
INSPIRE- Revolutionising Training in Welding Inspection for Hydrogen
Pipelines
comes in. The Erasmus+ project will showcase how vocational education and training can
respond to emerging industrial needs through the modernisation of welding inspection
training for hydrogen pipelines, combining new H₂-related
competences, modular training approaches and innovative
AR-based learning resources.
The afternoon will also include an AR session and an Experts Panel on
“People at the Centre of Industrial
Transformation”,
extending the discussion on how technological progress and workforce development
need
to move forward together.
